Former Chelsea fullback Cole Dasilva has joined Brentford B on a free transfer.

The 19-year-old completed his medical at Jersey Road this afternoon, Tuesday 7 August, and signed a two-year contract. The deal also includes an optional year for the Club.

A player who can play on either side of defence, Cole started his career with Luton Town. In 2012, he joined The Blues with his brothers Jay and Rio in a transfer that caught the attention of the media around the UK.

Cole is a Welsh youth international who represented the Under-20s at last summer's Toulon Tournament. While Ellery Balcombe was playing in Group A for England, Cole was facing the likes of France, Bahrain and Ivory Coast in Group B.

During the 2016/17 he won both the Under-18 Premier League South and FA Youth Cup with Chelsea. He even got his name on the scoresheet in the Cup Final, netting the last goal in a 6-2 aggregate win over Manchester City.

B Team Head Coach Kevin O'Connor said: "Cole will bring quality on the ball alongside dynamic pace both in attack and defence, and we look forward to developing his obvious potential even further with the B Team."
