Worley has signed an extended, two-year partnership with Brentford FC and Brentford FC Community Sports Trust to continue to promote and deliver its educational programme in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).

Worley is a professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. They employ 51,000 people across 46 countries, with their UK office based next to Gtech Community Stadium.

Worley first partnered with Brentford and the Trust in March 2022 to deliver a programme for young people in STEAM-related fields. Last year’s programme saw more than 650 local young people aged eight to 18 participate in the programme.

The new two-year partnership will continue to encourage young people aspiring towards a future career in science, engineering and sustainability to have the chance to take part in workshops and hear from industry professionals facilitated by Worley and the Trust.

As part of the new agreement, Worley’s brand will feature on the LED perimeter boards on first team matchdays, offering global exposure to its partners and projects.

Hannah Barnett, head of the social, education and health hub, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, said: “We are hugely excited to extend our partnership with Worley for a further two years. With Worley as our official STEAM partner, we have shown what is possible when like-minded organisations work together.

“This partnership aims to inspire the next generation of STEAM leaders by bringing together young people from our communities with role models working in the sector.

"We can’t wait to build on the success of last year’s programme and make an even greater impact across west London.”

Jeremy Wallace, senior vice president, operations at Worley, added: “Worley feels very fortunate to continue to work alongside Brentford FC and Brentford FC Community Sports Trust as we move into our second year of our partnership.

“Being able to share in a common mission to contribute to the community and make a difference in the lives of the youth within our shared local area is a privilege.

"We are excited for the year ahead as we continue with our STEAM activities, community engagements and educational events.”
