We’re pleased to announce another addition to our Under-18 squad with defender Remy-Lee Bennison joining the club on a four-month scholarship which will transition into a one-year professional contract.

The youngster joins having gained experience with Cre8tive Football Academy, who are a grassroots football organisation based in West London. Bennison has been with Cre8tive since the Under-13 age group and has worked his way through the ranks before joining the Bees for a trial period.

The Cre8tive Football Academy, which was founded in 2016, prides itself on developing young players, preparing them for an elite environment as they compete against grassroots and professional academy teams in showcase games.

Bennison most recently featured for Cre8tive’s partnering team Langley Football Club who currently sit top of the Combined Counties Football League Division One.

The teenager will initially join up with Neil MacFarlane’s B team for full-time training and he will look to gain significant game time with the Under-18s squad in their Merit League campaign which begins tomorrow against Forest Green Rovers.

Speaking on joining the club, Bennison said: “I’m delighted to sign for Brentford. It’s a proud moment for myself and my family and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get to work right away to continue my development and maximise this opportunity.”

The 17-year-old becomes another scholar to join up with the Under-18s after the recent acquisitions of Reggie Rose, Chanse Headman and Omaru King.
