Brentford will find out their opponents in the last eight of the Carabao Cup this weekend. The draw will be made live on Sky Sports Soccer AM programme on Saturday, 30 October. Presented by John Fendley, co-presenter Jimmy Bullard will be selecting the ties alongside actor and Leyton Orient fan Danny Mays.

Jimmy Bullard said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be making the draw, it’s a real honour. One the proudest moments in my career was playing in the League Cup final in 2006 with Wigan Athletic. Even though the result didn’t go our way, to play in a Cup Final in front of all of my family and almost 70,000 fans was a very special occasion.”

Brentford will be one of the eight sides in the draw. The Bees booked their place in the last eight with a 2-1 win at Stoke City last night. Sergi Canós put The Bees in front before Ivan Toney scored what proved to be the winner.

The Bees have previously beaten Forest Green Rovers, 3-1 in the Second Round, and Oldham Athletic, 7-0 in the Third Round, to reach this stage. It is only the second time in the Club's history that The Bees will play a last eight tie in the competition. The other time was last season when Brentford beat Newcastle United before losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the last four.

It is a London-centric last eight with five of the teams in the hat coming from the capital. Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham United are in the draw. The other sides are Leicester City, Liverpool and Sunderland. News on the draw will be on Club channels on Saturday morning.
