Following a dominant win over Leatherhead on the opening day, Brentford Women look to make it two consecutive league victories when they travel to face Actonians Reserves on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
The Bees are no strangers to Gunnersbury Sports Park, the side having played there twice last season for two wins.
With a weekend off to follow this clash, Karleigh Osborne’s side will be eyeing another strong performance come Sunday in London South East Division One North.
Last time out
Brentford were dominant last time out, defeating Leatherhead 5-1.
New recruit Ashley Cheatley scored a hat-trick within the opening 15 minutes, which was followed by goals from Carolin Engelhard and Chloe Logie.
Last time out against Actonians Reserves the Bees impressed, securing a 6-1 win at Gunnersbury.
Logie was on fire with four goals, Ella Cottrell and Freya Worsley each netting one each.
About Actonians Reserves
Actonians are fresh from an opening-day win of their own, beating Clapton Community 1-0 away from home. Kate Stevens managed to score the late winner.
Last season they finished the league season in sixth position on the table with eight wins, four draws and eight losses.
Katy Hanscomb led the way in front of goal for Actonians last season, finishing with 16 goals. She will be another player to watch this campaign.
