Brentford will now face Bristol City at the start of next month in a game that has twice been suspended. The sides were due to meet on Saturday, 2 January and then on Tuesday 13 January but neither game was able to take place. The fixture is now scheduled for Tuesday 2 February and will kick-off at 7pm.

The original game had to be suspended as Covid-19 symptoms had been noted in the City squad. Due to the New Year Bank Holiday closure of the testing laboratory, Bristol City were unable to arrange the testing of the entire squad and backroom staff ahead of the match. The game was then suspended again last week and has been scheduled for a third time.

The match will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors. It will, however, as it stands be available live on iFollow Brentford. As per EFL communication on the broadcast arrangements for the new season, all of a team's games not selected for live coverage by Sky Sports will only be available on that platform. See more here.
