Danish Youth international striker Justin Shaibu is the latest player to sign for Brentford B. The 18-year-old has joined Brentford’s new B Team on a two-year contract, signing from HB Køge for an undisclosed fee. The teenager completed a medical today, Monday 18 July, and the move was finalised this afternoon, subject to international clearance. Justin will now fly to Denmark to join Brentford B’s training camp.

Justin came through the youth ranks at Køge and was part of the Danish side’s Under-19 team last season. He has spent the first part of pre-season on trial with Brentford B and has now moved to West London. The teenager has represented Denmark at Under-17 and Under-18 level. In total he has nine international appearances to his credit, scoring once.

Rob Rowan, Brentford FC Head of Football Operations, said: “I’m very happy that we’ve completed the transfer of Justin Shaibu. Justin is an exciting young striker whose power, pace and game understanding particularly stood out during his recent trial period with the club. He’s a versatile forward in the sense that he can play the wide areas for us or play in a two up top if required which was something that impressed the coaching staff. He’s now off to Denmark, where he will meet up with his new team mates and the rest of the technical staff for a hard week of training.”
