Brentford B have completed the signing of Joseph Wheeler-Henry on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
Wheeler-Henry will link up with Sam Saunders' side after impressing in two trial games, where he showcased his versatility and pace.
He grabbed an assist in the 2-1 defeat against Millwall, as his long throw found the head of Josh Stephenson, before playing comfortably as a right-back and centre-back in the 3-0 win against west London rivals QPR.
Wheeler-Henry joined Chelsea at under-13s level, and was an important part of their U17s side who won the Premier League Cup in the 2022/23 season.
Brentford B head coach Saunders said: “I’m delighted to extend Joseph’s stay with us.
"In the short time he’s been here, he has demonstrated both his quality and confidence. He brings clear strengths that will benefit the team, while also continuing to develop other areas of his game. I’m very pleased to have him on board.”
