Brentford will take on Coventry City in a Professional Development League fixture at Wheatsheaf Park on Monday in a 2pm kick-off.
Neil MacFarlane’s side will be looking to bounce back following a disappointing opening day result against Sheffield United Under-21s.
The young Bees suffered a heavy defeat at Bramall Lane against last season’s Professional Development League North winners in their previous outing.
Speaking on the defeat, Brentford U21s defender Chanse Headman says he’s confident he and his team-mates will respond against Coventry.
He said: “The result against Sheffield was disappointing and it obviously wasn’t the start we were hoping to get off to.
“We played a really strong side who fielded a few first team players, but it was a learning curve for us and a great experience to play at Bramall Lane.

“We know the levels we need to reach and I’m sure we can respond well against Coventry back in front of the fans at Wheatsheaf Park.”
