Brentford B striker Iwan Morgan has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The 18-year-old, who joined the Bees in the summer of 2023, has extended his stay until 2027.

Morgan has featured for Brentford Under-18s as well as the club's B team during his time in west London.

He scored his first goal for the club in the Under-18s' FA Youth Cup defeat to Tottenham earlier this season.   The striker opened the scoring against Fulham away from home in the Premier League Cup for the B Team. He has scored three times in that competition, with goals coming against Burnley at Wheatsheaf Park and Leicester City too.

Morgan is also a youth international for Wales and featured for his country at the Under-17 UEFA European Championship last summer. He netted two goals against Poland as he helped the side to their first win at a major tournament in the under-17 age group.

On Morgan extending his stay with the club, Brentford B head coach Neil MacFarlane said: “We are extremely happy for Iwan and this is much deserved. When he joined us we worked with him to get his levels to where they should be and he responded excellently. We are beginning to see the fruits of his hard work. He is a terrific person and we hope he continues to show the talent he clearly possesses."
