The match, which will be played at Hendon’s Avenue Park Stadium, is a Second Round fixture with both sides having been given byes in the First Round of this season’s competition.
Of course, the sides met just over one month ago in the Final of the 2019/20 competition which had been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On the night, the game went to extra-time in a closely fought encounter which was won late on when Shaun Lucien fired home a penalty to win the trophy with a 1-0 win.
Neil MacFarlane’s side will be looking to go one better this season and try to win the trophy, but they will have to navigate their way past a confident Hendon side who will be looking to do the double over the young Bees.
Recent form for both sides sees them come into the fixture off the back of defeats with Brentford B looking to turn out an improved result following their 3-2 defeat away at National League side Aldershot Town, whilst Hendon slipped to a 1-0 defeat away at Poole Town on Saturday.
