Brentford’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool is Utilita’s performance of the week.

The League Managers Association’s panel, comprising LMA chair Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Chris Hughton, Rachel Yankey, Les Ferdinand, Clare Tomlinson, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry determined that the award should go to the Bees.

Brentford beat Liverpool 3-1 to make it seven points from a possible nine over the festive period and climb to seventh in the Premier League.
