With the 2026/27 season fast approaching, 13 players have joined Brentford’s Under-18s group as first-year scholars and taken the next step in their football careers.

To celebrate the milestone, the club hosted its annual scholar celebration event at Clayton Hotel Chiswick, officially welcoming the new intake and recognising the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their development with the Bees.

Gary McDermott will continue as Brentford Under-18s head coach for the 2026/27 season, alongside assistant coach Kieran Driscoll.

Daniel Hill remains in his role as goalkeeper coach, while Luca Avena continues as the side’s athletic development coach.

Before being eligible to sign their first professional football contracts, all players in their U17s year must commence the season with a scholarship agreement.
