A star-studded Arsenal XI beat Brentford's Development Squad 4-0 in a friendly this afternoon at London Colney.
Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Mathieu Debuchy all started for the Gunners as they continued their recovery from injury.
The four internationals were joined in the Arsenal starting XI by Mathieu Flamini and January signing Krystian Bielik.
Alan McCormack and Tony Craig started for Lee Carsley's Development Squad in what was otherwise a young Brentford XI.
Youth Team members James Ferry, Courtney Senior and Herson Rodrigues Alves all started with four more Youth Team players and 16-year-old Joshua Bohui on the bench.
All the goals came in the first-half as Wilshere gave Arsenal the lead after seven minutes with a delicate finish before the England International set up Daniel Crowley for the second.
Alex Iwobi added a third with a low strike and then latched on to Diaby's through ball to make it 4-0 before-half time.
Wilshere, Arteta and Diaby were withdrawn at half-time and after Flamini and Debuchy were replaced on the hour it became a much more even affair.
Jack Bonham saved a penalty from Stephy Mavididi while The Bees could have pulled one back right at the end as Jermaine Udumaga brought a great save from home goalkeeper Matt Macey.
Speaking after the match Academy Director Ose Aibangee said: "This was a great learning experience for the boys.
"To play against a number of high class internationals and some of the best Under-21s in the country is really good for their development.
"The boys will have learned a lot from being on the pitch with players like Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby and Mikel Arteta.
"In the second-half when the teams were more even in terms of age I thought we did really well.
"The second-half was an even contest and that says a lot about the young players that we have coming through here."
