The form of Alex Pritchard during his season-long loan at Brentford has earned him a place in the England long squad for the UEFA European Under-21 Championships.
England named a 27-man squad for the tournament and Alex was in it.
Four men will be cut from the group before the tournament kicks-off in the middle of next month.
Alex spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Griffin Park from Tottenham Hotspur.
He played 47 games for The Bees and scored 12 goals from an attacking midfield role as Brentford finished fifth in the Sky Bet Championship.
Alex has six Under-21 caps and has been in the England group for the majority of the season.
He has also played for his country at Under-20 level.
The European Under-21 Championships will be played in Czech Republic from June 17 to 30.
England have been grouped with Italy, Portugal and Sweden for their opening three games.
