Brentford’s on loan attacking midfield player Alex Pritchard has been called up to England’s Under-21 squad.
The 21-year-old is on loan at Griffin Park from Tottenham Hotspur for the duration of the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship season.
He has been named in the England Under-21 squad for their crucial Euro 2015 play-off tie against Croatia.
Gareth Southgate's side host The Croats at Molineux on Friday October 10th before travelling to Vinkovci the following Tuesday for the away leg.
The winner of the tie will qualify for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship to be held in the Czech Republic next summer.
Alex made his England Under-21s bow in September as he came off the bench in the qualifying wins over Lithuania and Moldova.
Alex, who has three England Under-20 caps, has been at Tottenham from a young age.
He made his Spurs debut on the final day of the 2013/14 season against Aston Villa, appearing as a late substitute.
Alex spent a short spell on loan at Peterborough United in 2012/13 and the whole of last season at Swindon Town.
He has played ten games for Brentford so far this season, scoring once.
