Brentford’s on loan attacking midfield player Alex Pritchard made his second appearance for England’s Under-21 side tonight.
The 21-year-old is on loan at Griffin Park from Tottenham Hotspur for the duration of the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship season.
He came off the substitute’s bench as England Under-21 beat Moldova 3-0 in an UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying tonight, Tuesday September 9.
Former Brentford loanee Saido Berahino scored two of the goals and Harry Kane, also of Tottenham, got the other.
Alex came on for the last few minutes, replacing Berahino, to win his second cap, four days after he made his debut, against Lithuania.
The win gave England a total of 28 points from their ten qualifying games.
They will now go in to Qualifying Play-Offs, a home and away tie to decide the seven teams to join hosts Czech Republic in the finals next summer.
Alex, who has three England Under-20 caps to add to his two at Under-21 level, has been at Tottenham from a young age.
He made his Spurs debut on the final day of the 2013/14 season against Aston Villa, appearing as a late substitute.
Alex spent a short spell on loan at Peterborough United in 2012/13 and the whole of last season at Swindon Town.
He has played five games for Brentford so far this season, scoring once.
