Alan McCormack has been named the 2013/14 Brentford Supporters’ Player of the Year.
Brentford Football Club asked fans to vote for the prize, which was presented tonight’s Player of the Year Ball, and thousands had their say.
Alan emerged as the clear winner in his first season at the Club.
He played 45 games for The Bees this season after arriving from Swindon Town in the summer.
He played 43 of those in a Sky Bet League One campaign that saw Brentford finish second and win promotion to The Championship.
Alan contributed two goals – against Staines Town, in the FA Cup with Budweiser, and Coventry City – and made a nine assists.
He played both in midfield and at right back this term and helped The Bees to 20 Sky Bet League One clean sheets this season.
Alan took the prize ahead of Tony Craig, who finished second.
Adam Forshaw was a few votes behind Tony in third.
