Alan Judge said Brentford’s draw away to Sheffield United was probably not a bad point but was less than they deserved.
The Bees drew 0-0 at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.
They dominated the match but could not find the winning goal.
Alan, speaking to Bees Player: Match Day Live after the game, said The Bees felt like the home team at Bramall Lane.
He said they would now put it behind them and look to go again when they face Notts County on Saturday.
“It is probably not a bad point but we felt like the home team tonight.
“I’d be interested to see the posession stats.
“But posession doesn’t matter if we don’t win the game.
“We will go again on Saturday.”
Alan said Brentford started positively and the players felt it was a matter of time before they scored.
He said The Bees got in great positions and the goals would come.
There was a controversial incident when Marcello Trotta got away from the home defence in the inside right channel and burst in to the penalty area.
Kieron Freeman lunged in with a tackle as the striker prepared to pull the trigger and the Brentford man went down.
Referee Eddie Ilderton pointed for a penalty and sent the Sheffield United man off but then spoke to his assistant Mark Dwyer and changed his mind, recalled the defender, now in the mouth of the tunnel, and gave a drop ball.
Alan said he did not think it was a penalty but was unhappy at the way events unfolded.
“I thought we played very well and didn’t get what we deserved,” said Alan.
“We had a shot within 30 seconds, that is a big difference from the past games.
“We looked like the home team tonight but didn’t put the chances away.
“We could see Sheffield United were tired.
“They couldn’t live with the way we moved the ball around.
“We stretched them and stayed wide.
“We cut them through midfield.
“We felt it was a matter of time before we scored.
“We had four shots straight at the goalkeeper.
“We got in great positions and the goals will come.
