Brentford midfielder Alan Judge has been placed on standby for two upcoming Republic of Ireland matches.
Martin O'Neill's side face England in a friendly at The Aviva Stadium on Sunday, June 7, and then host Scotland at the same venue in a crucial UEFA European Championships qualifying fixture six days later.
Alan was named in the initial 33-man squad but not named in the final 27.
He has been placed on standby for the games.
Alan has been capped at Under-18, Under-19, Under-21 and Under-23 level but still waiting his first full international cap.
The Dublin-born midfielder initially joined The Bees on loan from Blackburn Rovers in January 2014 and, after his seven goals in 22 matches helped to secure promotion from Sky Bet League One, signed a permanent deal last summer.
He scored three goals and contributed 17 assists in 41 games in all competitions in 2014/15.
Ireland are currently fourth in their Euro 2016 qualifying group with eight points from their opening five matches.
Scotland and Germany are two points better off while Poland lead the way, three points ahead of Ireland.
The top two sides qualify automatically for the expanded 24-team tournament in France.
The best third-placed side also qualifies with the remaining eight sides entering a play-off to decide the final places.
