Alan Judge has received special recognition from the Football League for his performance in Brentford’s win over Rotherham United on Saturday.
The Irish midfielder scored both goals as Lee Carsley's side picked up the three points at Griffin Park. His first, a fine first time volley, come after just 70 seconds before he headed The Bees back in front in the second-half after Joe Mattock had levelled for The Millers.
The two goals in the 2-1 win saw Alan named in the Football League Team of the Week.
The team, published on the Football League website, is drawn from the performances over the previous seven days in all three Sky Bet Football League divisions.

Alan is the second Brentford player to be named in the Football League selection after James Tarkowski was included following his assist and goal in the 2-2 opening day draw against Ipswich Town.
