Alan Judge’s performances for Brentford last week earned him special recognition.
In the seven days from March 31 to April 6, Brentford drew 0-0 away to Sheffield United and beat Notts County at Griffin Park.
Alan Judge scored two in the 3-1 win over Notts County.
His goals came either side of half time after Adam Forshaw had put Brentford in front from the penalty spot.
He was named Man of the Match at Griffin Park on Saturday and that performance, coupled with his showing against Sheffield United, was enough to give him a place in the Football League Team of the Week.
The team, published on the Football League website, is drawn from the performances over the previous seven days in all three Sky Bet Football League divisions.
Alan was one of four midfield players selected.

It is the second time Alan has been named in this season’s Football League Team of the Week.
The selection started in January after the old Team of the Week format – an XI selected from each division every week – was discontinued at the end of last season.
He was named in a line-up in February after scoring twice against Crewe Alexandra.
George Saville has also received the accolade, being selected after Brentford beat Leyton Orient in East London last month.
