It is one of the most eagerly awaited days of the year for fans up and down the country and now Fixture Release Day is now just one month away. With Fulham, Queens Park Rangers, Aston Villa, and Newcastle among the teams already confirmed for the 2016/17 Sky Bet EFL there are plenty of fixtures for Bees fans to look forward to next season.
The newly-branded Sky Bet EFL will kick-off on the weekend of Saturday 6 August, with the first round of the League Cup following the week commencing August 8. There will be three fixtures over the Christmas period with games on Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and Monday 2 January while the crucial Easter Weekend fixtures return in the Championship this season, with matches on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday as the season reaches its climax.
Brentford will enter the Emirates FA Cup at the Third Round stage over the weekend of 7 January with the final at Wembley on Saturday 27 May. The final round of Sky Bet Championship matches will be played on Saturday 6 May with the play-off final to be played on Monday 29 May.
