Brentford have three pre-season friendlies confirmed prior to the start of the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship campaign, with one more expected to be announced shortly.
The training camp in Portugal next month is likely to include a match against as yet unconfirmed opponents, but this will be played behind closed doors with no entry to spectators. The First Team squad will return from Portugal on 16 July, three days before their match against newly promoted National League side Boreham Wood.
Brentford’s confirmed pre-season friendlies so far are as follows:
Co-Director of Football Phil Giles said: “We have made the conscious decision to arrange domestic pre-season friendlies against English teams this year.
“This will enable Marinus to acquaint himself quickly with the type of football his side will come up against in the coming season.”
