Make the most of your matchday

Direct trains from London to Nottingham Station run every 30 minutes from London St Pancras International, taking around 90 minutes. Alternatively, supporters can travel from King’s Cross and change at Grantham, which will take just over two hours. 

On arrival at Nottingham Station, you can walk to The City Ground in 20 minutes. Follow signs for Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

The promotion with Trainline was in effect until the end of the 2024/25 season. The club is continuing to explore ways of making away travel as affordable as possible for our fans.

On arrival in Nottingham, you can get bus services 5 through to 11 that each have stops within a short distance to The City Ground, with some of these services being available from outside Nottingham Train Station. Visit Nottingham City Transport’s website to find a service near you.

You can get to The City Ground by exiting either junction 24 or 26 of the M1 and following directions to postcode NG2 5FJ. 

Parking is very limited on matchday and priority will be given to home supporters, costing £10 per car and it is first come, first served. 

Brentford fans driving to the match are strongly advised to use the pay and display car parks approved by the home club: 

Meadow Lane (Notts County FC, NG2 3HJ) 

County Hall (NG2 7QP) 

Cattle Market (NG2 3GY) 

Lady bay Sports Ground (NG2 5AA)

The away ticket office is located next to the away section. Ticket collection opens 90-minutes before kick-off. 

Please remember to bring photo ID when you collect your tickets at the ground.

The Nest (Iremonger Road, NG2 3HU), located next to Notts County FC’s Meadow Lane Stadium is a 10-minute walk from the ground and is exclusively open to away ticket holders. The bar will be open pre-match and food vendors are on site. 

Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, a short walk from the city centre, claims to be the ‘oldest pub in England’ and is a popular tourist destination.  

There are many other options for food and drink in the city centre, but venues have the right to refuse entry to away supporters at their own discretion.

You can walk from The City Ground to Nottingham Station in 20 minutes. The last direct train back to St Pancras International leaves Nottingham Station at 21.09 and takes two hours.

The City Ground has multiple wheelchair bays and seating for ambulant supporters available in the away section. 

Accessible toilets are available in the home areas only. Please speak to a steward if you need to use these facilities.

A vibrant city, popular for students, Nottingham is a popular spot for night life with multiple bars and clubs open until the early hours. 

The city centre has a range of budget hotels to suit an overnight stay, such as Ibis, Premier Inn, Travelodge and Crowne Plaza.
