Make the most of your matchday

Train travel from London to Grimsby will take approximately three hours. There are no direct services available. 

To get to Grimsby, fans will need to travel from London Kings Cross to Doncaster and then take a connecting train to either Grimsby Town station or Cleethorpes station. Trains from Kings Cross leave every hour on matchday. Cleethorpes station is closest to the ground, and approximately 20 minutes’ walk away. Grimsby Town station is approximately 40 minutes’ walk away. 

The last train from Cleethorpes that will get you to Doncaster in time to return to London leaves Cleethorpes at 21:26 (passing Grimsby Town station at 21:34). This is scheduled to be before the final whistle and in the event of a draw, the match will go straight to penalties. 

Return tickets to London are liable to sell out. We recommend you use Trainline to book your ticket as soon as possible. 

It is recommended to walk from Cleethorpes station to Blundell Park. 

Bus services run arrive directly opposite Blundell Park. Supporters can take the number 9, 13 and 46 routes to the ground. 

London to Grimsby is a 400-mile round-trip and will take more than four hours each way. 

Parking is limited around Blundell Park. The hosts advise supporters to arrive early and use street parking nearby. Some areas may have matchday parking restrictions.

Brentford fans are encouraged to visit Scottie’s bar, found in the away section. 

Away from the ground, Brentford fans are welcome at The Rutland Arms (DN31 3AF) before kick-off. 

Cleethorpes has a range of restaurants for dining and Grimsby is famous for traditional fish and chips that locals encourage visitors to try. 

There are no trains back to London scheduled for after the match is due to finish. 

Please plan your route home accordingly or consider staying the night.  

Grimsby Town have no dedicated accessible parking spaces at Blundell Park. The home side strongly recommends that disabled fans arrive as early as possible to use on-street parking near to the ground. Blundell Park has six wheelchair bays with six accompanying seats for carers available to away supporters. These must be pre-booked. Contact [email protected] to book. 

There is a fully accessible toilet in the away section. 

Grimsby has a range of budget hotels to suit an overnight stay, such as Premier Inn, Holiday Inn and plenty of independent options.
