It has been confirmed that, following the Government’s easing of COVID-19 ‘Autumn and Winter Plan B’ restrictions, that COVID passes will no longer be enforced as a condition of entry to Brentford matches, home and away.
This means that:
- Fans will not be required to show their COVID-certification on matchday by either showing their NHS COVID Pass or by showing proof of a negative COVID test;
- Fans will no longer be required to self-declare their COVID status ahead of each match;
- Spot-checks will no longer take place ahead of each match.
Despite this, and while COVID-19 restrictions are easing, it is vital that fans continue to do all they can to minimise the risk of passing on COVID-19. There are some simple ways fans can help keep each other safe on a matchday:
The best way to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 is to get vaccinated.
Fans must also continue to abide by the COVID-19 Supporter Code of Conduct which has been updated to reflect the above changes and is available here.
We extend our thanks to all fans for their co-operation and ongoing efforts to keep themselves, their fellow Bees fans and our staff safe.
