Chiedozie Ogbene joined Brentford in January 2018 from Irish side Limerick. The Nigerian-born winger is currently on a six-month loan at Exeter City.
"Everyone is energetic and positive and they want to win"
After moving to Ireland with his family at an early age, Chiedozie grew up playing both Gaelic and association football. His career really took off when he signed for Cork City aged 18.
A member of both squads, Chiedozie won the Enda McGuill Cup with the under-19 side before collecting the FAI Cup with the senior team.
In January 2017, he moved to Limerick for a year under Martin Russell after the side had been promoted in 2016. He was linked with a move to Aston Villa during his time with The Super Blues but in January 2018, he signed for Brentford.
He made his Bees debut in a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in April that year, playing against Hull City on the final day of the season as well.
At the start of the 2018/19 campaign, Chiedozie agreed a half-season loan deal with Exeter City. He made his Grecians debut on 1 September, coming on as a substitute during a match with Lincoln City.
