Valgeir joined Brentford B on loan from Icelandic side HK Kópavogs in October 2020.

The 18-year-old had been playing for the First Team at HK Kópavogs in his native Iceland, and the right-sided forward player has also represented his nation at multiple youth levels.

Valgeir departed on loan with Kópavogs ninth in the Úrvalsdeild karla and he joins Brentford B looking to continue his development under Neil MacFarlane and his coaches.
