Jude Russell joined Brentford B in the summer of 2021 bringing his 11-year stay at Crystal Palace to an end.

He spent a number of years with Palace having represented their Under-18 side whilst just 15. The 2018/19 season saw him make 28 starts for the Under-18s at Selhurst Park before getting more game time under his belt over the next couple of years. He was also part of the Palace Under-23 side that clinched promotion to the Premier League 2 Division 1 during the 2020/21 campaign.

Jude had a trial period with the young Bees in the 2020/21 season and impressed with his physicality as the Club opted to bring in the youngster permanently.
