A player who can play on either side of defence, Cole started his career with Luton Town. In 2012, he joined The Blues with his brothers Jay and Rio in a transfer that caught the attention of the media around the UK.

Cole is a Welsh youth international who represented the Under-20s at the  Toulon Tournament. While Ellery Balcombe was playing in Group A for England, Cole was facing the likes of France, Bahrain and Ivory Coast in Group B.

During the 2016/17 he won both the Under-18 Premier League South and FA Youth Cup with Chelsea. He even got his name on the scoresheet in the Cup Final, netting the last goal in a 6-2 aggregate win over Manchester City.

Last season Cole helped the side to a Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup victory over Harrow Borough in what was a 4-0 win at Griffin Park.
