Kolbeinn Finnsson joined the B Team in the summer of 2018, singing on a two-year deal from Dutch side FC Groningen.

"I have big ambitions, I want to be part of the First Team squad"

Kolbeinn began his career in his native Iceland with Fylkir FC, a top flight team in the eastern part of capital city Reykjavik.

In 2016, he moved to the Netherlands to join Groningen as an Under-19 player. Moving through the ranks quickly, he was an Under-21 squad member within a few months.

On the international stage, Kolbeinn has played for Iceland youth squads all the way up to the Under-21s.
