Henrik Johansson joined Brentford B from Halmstads Bollklubb in January 2017. Thus far, injury has hampered his progress at Griffin Park.
"Everything felt really good when I was here on trial. The players took really good care of me"
Henrik came through the youth ranks at Halmstads, turning professional in 2015. He excelled in Swedish youth football, scoring 16 goals in 46 games in the national Under-19 league.
The teenager also contributed a further 11 assists for Halmstads in his two years at that level and played in the Under-21 league and cup despite being just 18.
Henrik has also been called into the Swedish international picture, playing at Under-19 level.
After arriving in West London in January 2017, his first few appearances in a Bees shirt helped the team win the Kai Thor Cup. Despite getting off to a great start, his 16/17 campaign was ended by a muscle injury in February.
Returning after 13-months on the sidelines to play Manchester United at Griffin Park, Henrik then suffered another injury at the end of the 2017/18 season.
