Burnley’s Mike Jackson has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for April.

Jackson topped a public vote and was announced as the winner earlier today, Thursday 12 May.

The Clarets picked up three wins and a draw in Jackson’s first four matches, after he took temporary charge following the departure of Sean Dyche.

Brentford Head Coach, Thomas Frank, was nominated for the award, but missed out on the prize.

Thomas guided us to an unbeaten April, which saw three wins from four, including a first victory over Chelsea since 1939 and successes over West Ham United and Watford.

Also on the shortlist were Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool) and Pep Guardiola (Manchester City).
