Brentford FC Head Coach Thomas Frank held a very special training session earlier this week. After the Club’s First Team players had finished their work for the day, Thomas was back out on the training pitches. Players from our Women’s First Team and B Team were put through their paces at Jersey Road.

The squads all met in the Spring sunshine for a late afternoon session. Thomas put on a series of drills and exercises for the group, as well as some one-on-one feedback as the session went on. The coaches for our female teams also took part.

Brentford Women First Team have effectively finished their season. Their last match of the campaign against Walton Casuals was postponed and a decision has not yet been taken as to whether it will be rearranged or awarded to The Bees. Brentford look set to finish fourth in London and South East Regional Division One North, their first season at that level.

The Women’s B Team still have two matches of the campaign to play. They face Islington Borough LFC in the final of the Greater London Women's Football League Anniversary Trophy on Sunday May 22. Prior to that they take on Hackney Women’s FC Reserves on Sunday, 15 May, in their final league fixture. More on our teams can be seen here.
