There are still one more game of Brentford's 2021/22 Premier League season remaining but their fate has already been confirmed. The Bees currently sit 11th in the Premier League table and cannot be relegated. The Bees will be in the Premier League in 2022/23 and most of their opponents are already known with an extra one added yesterday.

Next season will be Brentford's second in the Premier League. It will be their seventh in the top flight in their 133-year history. The Bees already know 17 of the teams they will be facing next year with everyone from first to 16th in the top flight confirmed for 2022/23.

Two of the teams coming up from the Sky Bet Championship have also been confirmed. Fulham and AFC Bournemouth sealed automatic promotion at the end of the second tier season. The third place will be confirmed at the end of the Championship Play-Offs.

Everton's comeback win over Crystal Palace yesterday took them to 39 points. The teams below them - Leeds United and Burnley - can only get to 38 so Everton have confirmed a Premier League place for 2022/23. Brentford have 46 points.

The full list of teams confirmed in the Premier League for 2022/23 is as follows:

The two remaining places in the Premier League will be confirmed in the next nine days. One of them will be a current Premier League side that earn enough points to finish outside the relegation zone. The winner of the Championship Play-Offs will be the last team.

The teams that will contest the Championship Play-Off Final were confirmed earlier this week. Huddersfield Town beat Luton 2-1 on aggregate to secure their spot. Nottingham Forest then beat Sheffield United on penalties. Forest or Huddersfield will be in the Premier League next season.

There are two teams in danger of being relegated from the Premier League. Leeds are in the relegation zone and need to pick up at least a point in West London to give themselves any chance of avoiding relegation from the Premier League. They are 18th, level on points with Burnley but with a significantly worse goal difference.

Burnley face Newcastle United on the final day of the season. If Burnley win, Leeds will be relegated. If Leeds lose, Leeds will be relegated. Leeds need to better Burnley's result to stay in the top tier.
