After an impressive first season in West London where he netted 34 goals, Nathan earned his debut in Thomas Frank’s side on 7 May 2022 as he helped The Bees close out a 3-0 win from the bench against Southampton in the Premier League.

Nathan also won Brentford B Player of the Year for his sensational first season in red and white where he made 37 appearances for Neil MacFarlane’s team- helping them to impressive results across Europe as well as lift the London Senior Cup back in April.

The Robert Rowan First Team Debut Board pays tribute to our former Technical Director who sadly passed away in 2018. Robert played a key role in Brentford B’s formation as the Club made the decision to move from an academy structure to having two teams.

Every B Team player who has made a debut for the First Team from Brentford B is recognised by having their name added to the board to celebrate the achievement.

Discussing making his First Team debut, Nathan said: "It was the last thing that I expected. People have come up to me and asked if I was nervous or shy. It all happened so quickly so I never managed to even worry about what I was going to do. I'd been on the bench a few times before and I think that process before helped me to think of it as a normal game."

On seeing his top scorer earn his debut for the First Team, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane added: "We're thrilled for Nathan because he's scored a countless number of goals for us and he's been a real focal point at the top end of the pitch. He thoroughly deserves it for working hard every day."

Other names to have been added to the Board in recent seasons have been Mads Bidstrup, Lewis Gordon, Alex Gilbert, Max Haygarth and Fin Stevens. Nathan is the first player in 2022 to have gained a debut for the First Team from Brentford B.
