Mads Bidstrup has kept his place in the Denmark Under-21 squad for their upcoming European Championship Qualifiers.

Denmark finish their Group I campaign with three home games at the Vejle Stadion as they look to secure second spot and a place in the Play-Offs.

First up it is Kazakhstan on Saturday 4 June, kick-off 2pm. On Friday 10 June, it is Scotland who head to Velje, kick-off 5pm, before their final qualifier against Turkey on Tuesday 14 June, kick-off 5pm.

Denmark need four points from their last three games to secure a Play-Off place but could earn automatic progress to Romania and Georgia next summer if they can finish as the best of the nine group runners-up.

Mads has featured in all-but-one of Denmark's five qualifiers so far, taking his total number of Under-21 caps to five. The central midfielder has also represented his nation at every age group between Under-16 and Under-19, winning 22 caps.

The 21-year-old has spent 2022 on loan with Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland. Mads played 13 times for FCN as they ended the season with a nine-game unbeaten run to secure third in the Superliga Relegation Round.

Mads joined Brentford B in the summer of 2020 but was quickly involved in Thomas Frank's First Team squad. He featured six times at the end of that season, including the Play-Off Final victory over Swansea City at Wembley. The early months of this season saw Mads play a further eight games, four of those coming in the Premier League, beford he joined FCN in January.
