The latest details on our loan players

13 May 2022

There was midweek minutes for a couple of our players this week and there will be more potential game time coming in the next few days too.

Starting in Denmark, Mads Bidstrup gained 90 minutes for FC Nordsjælland as they picked up their third successive 1-1 draw on Wednesday. They faced SønderjyskE away from home and it was the home side who took the advantage just after the hour mark through an own goal before Nordsjælland equalised through Kofod Anderson, who scored six minutes from time. They are at home to Vejle on Sunday. Staying in the same country, Luka Racic's HB Køge are back in action on Friday against Fremad Amager as they look to build on back-to-back wins.

There was also minutes for Ellery Balcombe on Tuesday as his Bromley side drew 1-1 with Altrincham. Bromley went ahead on 17 minutes through Mason Bloomfield before Dan Mooney then netted with three minutes to play to earn a draw. Bromley are 11th in the National League and play their final league match of the season on Sunday away at Barnet. They also have an FA Trophy Final to look forward to when they face Wrexham at Wembley on 22 May.

Looking ahead, there is some exciting action for Lachlan Brook and his Adelaide United side as they play their Elimination Final match against Central Coast Mariners on Sunday. Having finished fourth in their league table, they will play one fixture against Central Coast with the winner progressing to a two-legged Semi-Final.

Charlie Goode's Sheffield United will host Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final on Saturday whilst Joel Valencia's AD Alcorcón host Las Palmas and Halil Dervişoğlu's Galatasaray take on Adana Demirspor at home.
