Brentford duo Pontus Jansson and Kristoffer Ajer have been highlighted by Fantasy Premier League experts. Both scored in Brentford's 3-0 win over Southampton on Saturday, 7 May. It put them among the top scorers in FPL over the weekend.

Pontus scored the first goal, converting from close range. Kristoffer then added the third, weaving his way in to the penalty area, after Yoane Wissa had scored the second. Both also got points from Brentford keeping a clean sheet and in the FPL bonus points system.

The Scout - who writes about Fantasy Premier League for the Premier League - included words on the Brentford pair in his review of the action on Saturday. He said they offer good value for FPL managers in the final weeks of the season. Brentford have two games to play - away to Everton next Sunday, 15 May, and at home to Leeds United on the final day of the season.

"Brentford’s in-form players continue to offer strong value in Fantasy," wrote The Scout here. "Brentford centre-backs Pontus Jansson and Kristoffer Ajer (both £4.4m) both scored in their 3-0 home win over Southampton to claim 15 and 14 points respectively. Jansson has 31 points in his last four matches and faces Everton and Leeds United in the final two Gameweeks."
