Brentford defender Fin Stevens has earned another international call-up for Wales Under-21s ahead of two UEFA Under-21 Championship Qualifiers in June.
The side have two matches left in their Qualifying campaign for the tournament which will be held in Georgia and Romania in 2023 but previous results mean that they will not be able to reach the Finals next year.
They currently sit fifth in Group E on eight points after eight games with Switzerland and The Netherlands the runaway teams towards the top. The Swiss have picked up 19 points from eight games whilst the Dutch have 17 points but they have played one game less.
Wales will round off their Qualifiers with two matches on home soil as they first welcome the The Netherlands to Llanelli on Saturday 11 June in a 5pm kick-off before they play their final fixture against Gibraltar- who Wales beat 7-0 when they last met- and that match will take place on Tuesday 14 June also at Parc-Y-Scarlets in Llanelli.
Fin has been a regular in Paul Bodin’s squad over the past year or so and he has featured in five of the Qualifying matches for Wales during this campaign. The youngster, who has just recently been officially promoted to the First Team squad as of next season from Brentford B, will be aiming for more minutes to cap off another brilliant season of development for the 19-year-old.
