Brentord FC Community Sports Trust hosting a fast-track enrolment morning for the final places on a traineeship programme. The traineeship programme takes place over ten weeks and is designed for 16-24 year old’s who are not in education, employment, or training. Anyone interested in getting involved can find out more on Wednesday, 1 June, between 10am and 1pm at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub .
The programme is a full-time course with 15 hours a week of work placements. There will be 12 hours each week to help young people with their employability. This will include workshops on money management, knife crime, diversity, inclusion, and health and nutrition.
The traineeship also includes functional skills in English and Maths and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. The traineeship will provide the necessary skills and support for training and employment, alongside a bespoke reference for each young person to further support their transition pathway.
