The latest details on our loan players

19 May 2022

Having concluded their National League season, Bromley now turn their attentions to an FA Trophy Final against Wrexham at Wembley on Sunday as they aim to finish their season with silverware.

The side have beaten the likes of Aldershot, Tonbridge, Solihull Moors and York City to confirm their place in the Final and they will now take on the side from North Wales with Ellery Balcombe bidding to get more minutes for the side.

Looking at some of the recent action for our other players out on loan, there was 74 minutes of game time for Lachlan Brook at Adelaide UnIted on Wednesday in their A-League Semi-Final First Leg against Melbourne City. The tight encounter saw the game finish goalless at Coopers Stadium and Lachlan and his teammates will now prepare for the Second Leg which takes place on Sunday.

There was also recent minutes for Halil Dervişoğlu on Monday as his Galatasaray side beat Adana Demirspor 3-2 at home. Halil started the match and played 87 minutes. They fell behind on nine minutes but levelled on half hour through a Bafétimbi Gomis penalty. Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoğlu then put Galatsaray in front on 55 minutes before Gomis grabbed his second to put the side comfortably in front. Mario Balotelli did pull a goal back for the away side but it finished 3-2 as Galatasaray took the points. They play their final game of the season on Friday away at Antalyaspor and they sit 11th in the league table on 51 points. As for Sheffield United and Charlie Goode, he wasn’t involved as United were beaten in the Semi-Finals of the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs by Nottingham Forest on penalties earlier in the week.

Looking at upcoming potential minutes for our players over the next few days, Hans Mpongo will look to get more game time in Iceland for IBV having made his debut last time out. They will face Íþróttabandalag Akraness on Saturday as they search for their first win of the season. As for FC Nordsjælland and Mads Bidstrup, they play their final game of the Danish Superliga season on Saturday against AGF. As for Luka Racic and HB Køge, they have a few games remaining and next up for them is Jammerbugt this weekend as they aim to bounce back from defeat last time out to Fremad Amager. As for Joel Valencia, his AD Alcorcón side will face Almeria away from home on Saturday in the Spanish second tier.
