Trials for boys to join post-16 programme

Opportunities for teenage boys to gain qualifications while playing football

23 May 2022

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust are running trials to join their post-16 education and football programme next week. The trials allow the Trust to select players to be part of the group that earn educational qualifications while playing games and representing Brentford. Players can study for A Levels or a BTEC while training and playing games in competitive leagues.

The trial day for male players will take place next Tuesday, 31 May, at Gunnersbury Park. There will be a two-hour session where potential players are put through their paces. See here and below

The programme is run in association with West Thames College. Players get the chance to player competitively regularly and some have gone on to join professional clubs. See more here.
