The Premier League continues this evening but Fantasy Premier League bosses are already preparing for the weekend. Tonight, Thursday 17 March, marks the end of FPL Gameweek 29 when Everton host Newcastle United. There is a short turnaround to Gameweek 30, which kicks-off tomorrow, Friday 18 March, when Wolverhampton Wanderers host Leeds United.
There are only four games coming up this weekend, including Brentford's match away to Leicester City. The Bees travel north on Sunday, 20 March, for a match that will kick-off at 2pm. There is then a two-week gap between fixtures for international matches.
With only eight sides in action, The Premier League's FPL experts have identified Brentford players as ones to look at this week. The Premier League has assembled a squad of experts to deliver Fantasy Premier League insight to FPL managers. Fantasy bosses with proven pedigree and respected social influencers are on hand ahead of each match and they have suggested Ivan Toney and Christian Eriksen as players to add to FPL teams.
In pieces here and here, the experts have outlined their choices. Christian has helped Brentford to two wins from two in his first two starts for the Club. Ivan has scored five goals in those wins, against Norwich City and Burnley.
"Christian Eriksen (£5.5m) has added creativity to the Bees' game," writes Sam Bonfield. "That makes Ivan Toney (£6.6m) a key target for GW30. Toney now has five goals in his last two outings."
