Fans and players will come together at Brentford's Premier League match against Burnley tomorrow in a show of support to the people of Ukraine affected by the Russian invasion.

A yellow and blue card display has been organised for those in the North Stand. Fans there will be asked to raise their cards in the air shortly before kick-off for a moment of solidarity - we ask everyone attending the game to arrive early to join in.

A specially designed blue and yellow ‘Bee Together’ t-shirt will be worn by the players during the warm-up to reinforce the message to those watching at home and in the stadium that the team stands together with Ukraine.

The t-shirts will be available for fans to purchase in the Bees Superstore and via the online store with all profits from the sales being donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal to deliver humanitarian aid directly to those in need.

These profits will be added to a separate club donation to the same appeal.

Earlier this week, the Premier League and its clubs also donated £1million collectively to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to support the people of Ukraine. DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people.

More than 2.3 million people have fled Ukraine since the invasion began, leaving their homes, jobs and loved ones. It’s estimated that half of the refugees are children and that 12 million are in need of life-saving assistance - 30% of the Ukrainian population. The appeal has raised over £150million to date but the fundraising efforts will continue. Your donations can help.
