The female players in Brentford FC Community Sport Trust's post-16 group took part in a tournament late last month. The Trust runs a post-16 education and football programme for boys and girls. The female players went to St Mary's University in Twickenham for an event recently.

The event was run by the high performance centre at St Mary's University. Brentford were one of the teams involved and reached the last four. See more below.

The Trust put together two groups of players aged 16 and over that earn educational qualifications while playing games and representing Brentford. Players can study for A Levels or a BTEC while training and playing games in competitive leagues. See more here.
