Our Principal Partner Hollywoodbets is proud to highlight and reward the great impact of companies and individuals in our local community with the initiative Hollywood Heroes. So far this season, individuals and companies who worked with our Community Sports Trust have been chosen Hollywood Heroes. Jane Holmes and Peter Troth were nominated as our Hollywood Heroes for the game against Burnley last weekend.

Jane and Peter have been recognised for their fantastic work with Brentford FC Women. Supported by a group of committed volunteers, Brentford FC Women has been running for more than 30 years. At the start of last season, the club was officially included in the Brentford FC set-up.

Last term was very successful for the women’s First Team and B Team as both sides achieved promotion from their respective divisions. It’s down to the hard work of the club’s staff, players and officials that they have carried the momentum into the current campaign.

Jane Holmes has been a committee member since 2015. She has given up many hours to help the club and has the important job of washing the kit for the First Team after every game. She also makes herself available when required. Jane’s commitment to the club is unwavering.

Peter Troth has been a committee member since 2014. Like Jane, he has given up many hours to support the team. Peter has the not-so-enviable role of running the line on Sundays for the First Team, having to deal with the challenge of opposition players and the occasional dispute with members of the crowd! He has given a professional performance at every game.

Peter has also donated his own money to purchase banners to help promote the club at their home ground at Bedfont Sports.

The Club would like to thank Jane and Peter for their many hours of commitment to the women’s set-up. They are true Hollywood Heroes!

Hollywood Heroes was launched in conjunction with Principal Partner Hollywoodbets to highlight and reward the positive impact of volunteers and individuals in our local community. Hollywoodbets have provided nominees with boardroom hospitality tickets to say ‘thank you’ for all the hard work they have put in. Housing provider A2Dominion and the Hounslow Community Foodbox have also been recognised this season.
