The young Bees will go into the match with confidence having won three consecutive matches with victories over Dartford, Southampton B and Hampton & Richmond Borough. The win over Hampton on Tuesday evening saw them progress to the Final of the Middlesex Senior Cup where they also kept their third successive clean sheet too.

The Opposition

Wake Forest University, who are based in North Carolina in the United States, have travelled to the UK to test themselves against youth sides from England over a 10-day period. They have taken on the likes of Salford City, as they drew 3-3, before they then travelled to Leicester City Under-23s where they picked up a 4-0 win. They will now round off their time in England with a match against the young Bees on Saturday.

In charge of the side is Head Coach Bobby Muuss, who is in his eighth season in charge of the programme. The side have an impressive record under him having claimed 115 wins during his time at the helm. Muuss has proved his ability to nurture young players having helped 23 student-athletes into MLS clubs in six seasons.

Having netted the winner in the B Team's win over Hampton & Richmond earlier this week, Val Adedokun says the side are all working as hard as possible to compete for places in the starting XI. He explained: "Everyone pushes each other in this team. We train with intensity and as hard as we can, and if we push each other then we can get good results. Everyone pushes each other which makes us better at the end of the day."
