Ellery Balcombe made his first league appearance for Bromley as he played 90 minutes in their 0-0 draw against Torquay United away from home.
The Goalkeeper turned out for the National League side, who perhaps could have seen the game as a missed opportunity after the Devon side were reduced to 10 men on 38 minutes after Joe Lewis was sent off. Nonetheless, Bromley claimed a point on the road as they now sit ninth in the league table and they will look towards a match with Solihull Moors on Saturday in the Quarter-Finals of the FA Trophy.
Elsewhere in England there was another 90 minutes for Dom Thompson at Ipswich Town in their 2-0 away win at Fleetwood Town in Sky Bet League One. Both goals came within the final 20 minutes as Kayden Jackson followed up Sam Morsy’s opener. Ipswich are ninth in the league table on 56 points and face Lincoln City at home on Tuesday evening.
All three of Charlie Goode, Marcus Forss and Aaron Pressley were not involved for their loan sides over the course of the weekend.
In Denmark there was 86 minutes for Mads Bidstrup on Monday evening as FC Nordsjælland travelled away from home to AGF Aarhus in what was a 3-2 win. Nordsjælland actually fell behind on 19 minutes before an AGF own goal levelled things before half-time. The home side went back in front shortly after the break but two goals in five minutes from Mads Hansen and Simon Adingra ensured the side claimed all three points. Nordsjælland are 10th in the top tier of Danish football and are back in action on Friday against SønderjyskE. In the same country, Luka Racic played 90 minutes for HB Køge in their 1-0 defeat to Hobro away from home in the Danish First Division. The goal came in the third minute of stoppage time courtesy of Oliver Klitten which leaves HB Køge sixth in the league table, and they face Fremad Amager on Sunday afternoon.
Looking to Turkey, Halil Dervişoğlu was un unused substitute as Galatasaray lost 2-0 away at Konyaspor on Saturday. Both goals for the home side came inside the first half as the Turkish giants now sit 12th in the league table. Next up for the side is an away trip to Barcelona on Thursday this week in the UEFA Europa League. In Spain, a late penalty from Jose Angel Carrillo was enough to give Lugo the win over Joel Valencia’s AD Alcorcón on Sunday. The winger played 59 minutes for the side, who sit bottom of the Spanish second tier. Next up for them is Huesca at home on Sunday.
Finally, Lachlan Brook was not involved in a 2-1 win away from home at Perth Glory for Adelaide United. The results leaves them third in the table and they host Newcastle Jets on Sunday.
